Sunil Kataria has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director-Designate of Godrej Agrovet (GAVL). He will take over from Balram Singh Yadav, who has been re-appointed as Managing Director and will continue in his role until next year.
Sunil Kataria will assume his position as CEO & MD-Designate in May and will officially step into the role in September, subject to shareholder approval. This leadership transition is aimed at ensuring stability and continuity within the organization.
With over three decades of experience in consumer goods, telecom, and retail, Kataria has built a strong reputation for driving business growth and operational excellence. Prior to this, he served as Managing Director at Raymond Lifestyle Limited and also led India & SAARC operations at Godrej Consumer Products.
His appointment aligns with Godrej Agrovet’s long-term vision to strengthen its market presence and expand its business across key sectors. His expertise in strategy, brand building, and business transformation is expected to contribute to the company’s future growth.
Balram Singh Yadav, who has been with the Godrej Group since 1990, has played a crucial role in the company’s expansion and success. He will continue to lead until the leadership handover is complete, ensuring a smooth transition.
