With two decades of experience, he has expertise in strategic HR, business HR and operational HR, making him well-equipped to drive people management strategies at the company. His experience in both centralized and decentralized HR, along with his work in corporate, sales, and plant HR functions, positions him to enrichBlue Energy Motors’ workforce strategies.
Prior joining Blue Energy Motors, Arvind held a long-standing tenure with JCB India, where he played a pivotal role in corporate and plant HR. Beyond his time at JCB, Arvind gained HR leadership experience at various organizations, including Etisalat DB Telecom, Bharti AXA General Insurance, Secure Meters Limited and Aditya Birla Group.
During his career, he led key strategic HR portfolios like performance & rewards, talent management, leadership hiring, change management and HR digitalization. His experience in employee relations,long term settlements, union management, and compliances made significant contributions to the organization’s workforce development.Arvind has led community engagement initiatives by establishing and managing CSR for greenfield and matured facilities. An international assignment to United Kingdom, further strengthened his expertise in global HR processes.
A strong advocate for digital HR transformation, he has implemented solutions such as SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, and e-payroll in previous roles to enhance HR effectiveness. His proficiency in capability building, competency mapping, and performance &rewards has facilitated organizations strengthen their people management frameworks. His leadership in CSR initiatives, including skill development, education, and community engagement, positively impacted the social cause.
In addition to his corporate career, Arvind has a background in professional sports, having played cricket at the India U-19, state, university, and college levels. His sportsmanship and leadership on the field have contributed to his ability to drive team-oriented strategies in the corporate sector. His combination of sports and HR experience enables him to bring a dynamic and competitive approach to workforce development and employee engagement.
Arvind S Chauhan is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) and currently pursuingDoctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration from SP Jain School of Global Management.
