Amrish Kumar has been appointed as the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Ascent Business Solutions. In this role, he will lead digital transformation, AI innovation, cloud strategies, and product development. Reporting directly to the Founder and CEO, he will focus on advancing GenAI, innovation, data analytics, research and development, and customer engineering to strengthen Ascent’s healthcare technology solutions.
Before joining Ascent Business Solutions, Amrish Kumar was associated with Tech Mahindra as Global AI Solutions Engineering Head for AI Business. He played a significant role in developing GenAI-driven solutions for multiple industries, including BFSI, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail. His leadership was instrumental in driving strategic growth and emerging technology adoption.
Amrish Kumar also held a leadership role at Carelon Global Solutions (Elevance Health), where he served as Sr Delivery Head of AI, Cloud & Digital Platforms. He contributed to AI-driven solutions in clinical management, claims processing, underwriting, care management, and provider operations, helping optimize costs and improve efficiencies in the healthcare sector. His expertise in generative AI, automation, and platform engineering played a vital role in business transformation.
With over two decades of experience, Amrish Kumar has worked with organizations such as Oracle Health, Elevance Health, Booking.com, Tech Mahindra, Cars24, and Ixigo. His extensive background includes leading AI-powered innovations, forging strategic partnerships, and driving large-scale digital transformation projects across diverse sectors.
Beyond his corporate roles, Amrish Kumar has served as an AI technology advisor for startups such as AirVLabs and BarRaiser. He has actively contributed to AI research and development in industries like pharma, telecom, banking, and consumer goods. His expertise in generative AI technologies has been recognized across global markets.
In his new role at Ascent Business Solutions, Amrish Kumar will be responsible for leading the company’s AI-powered healthcare solutions and shaping its next phase of growth. His strong background in technology, data science, and digital strategy will drive innovation, operational efficiencies, and customer-focused advancements in healthcare technology.
