Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Baskaran has held leadership positions at renowned pharmaceutical organizations. He most recently served as COO at Sekhmet Pharmaventures, overseeing operations for nearly two years. Before that, he was Head – API Operations at Lupin and Senior Vice President – Operations at Hetero, where he played a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational excellence. His previous tenure at Granules India Limited as VP – Operations spanned nearly seven years, where he contributed significantly to the company’s growth and efficiency.
His expertise extends to regulatory audits and certifications, having successfully managed inspections from global authorities, including USFDA, MHRA, TGA, EU, HC, TFDA, ANVISA, MCA, and WHO-Geneva. His leadership has been instrumental in implementing Lean principles, cost-effective measures, and quality-driven processes that enhance manufacturing efficiency while maintaining cGMP compliance.
