With nearly two decades of experience in the media and entertainment industry, he brings deep expertise in driving branded content, advertising partnerships, and revenue innovation across television and digital platforms. His move to JioStar marks an exciting phase in his journey of shaping compelling brand narratives and unlocking value through content-led solutions.
Before joining JioStar, Deepak Luthra held pivotal positions at Viacom18 Media Private Limited for over 15 years. His recent roles included Revenue Head – Branded Content for Viacom18 and Jio Cinema, and Vice President for the Youth, Music & English Entertainment cluster. His contributions were instrumental in advancing creative monetization strategies across platforms like MTV and Jio Cinema, positioning the network as a leading player in branded content and advertiser engagement.
Deepak also brings prior experience from UTV, where he served as Account Manager and Assistant Manager, and from Times Network as a Senior Officer – Ad Sales for Zoom. His career began at INDIA TV (Independent News Service Pvt Ltd) as an Account Executive, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the ad sales ecosystem. Over the years, he has consistently demonstrated a sharp focus on brand collaboration, storytelling innovation, and business growth across diverse audience segments.
At JioStar, Deepak Luthra is set to lead integrated revenue efforts in branded content, working across TV and JioHotstar to craft immersive content experiences for brands and consumers.
