Over the course of his long and impactful career, Gunjan Mody has worked with some of the most prominent names in the financial and consulting space. He most recently served as CISO at PNB Housing Finance Limited, where he led the company’s cybersecurity framework for more than three years. Before that, he spent over a decade at Deloitte, where he worked as Associate Director, handling information security consulting, IT audits, project management, and risk assessments for major clients across industries.
Gunjan Mody began his leadership journey in information security at Barclays, where he implemented security controls and compliance systems as Assistant Manager. His diverse background also includes a stint at Indymac Bank, where he handled offshore compliance, further expanding his knowledge of global security standards. This broad exposure across consulting, banking, and housing finance has equipped him with deep insights into managing cyber threats in complex organizational ecosystems.
With his educational foundation in IT Management and Computer Science from institutions like Indira Gandhi National Open University, Mody combines strong technical skills with strategic thinking. At IIFL Home Loans, he is expected to drive digital resilience, ensure compliance with evolving cyber regulations, and lead initiatives that safeguard the organization and its customers from emerging security risks.
