Rohit Suri has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer at ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., effective May 12, 2025. Based in Mumbai, he will report directly to CEO Punit Goenka and will be responsible for driving the company’s human capital strategy in alignment with its long-term business objectives.
With over 25 years of experience in the technology and entertainment sectors, Suri is a seasoned HR leader known for his work in digital transformation, leadership development, and change management across global and Indian markets. He has held senior roles at Netflix, Paytm, GroupM, Turner Broadcasting, and Dentsu International—leading high-performing teams and building future-ready HR systems.
In his previous role at Netflix, Suri spearheaded talent strategy for India, fostering a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and organizational agility. He has also managed HR aspects of major M&A integrations and designed regional leadership programs across cities including Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Mumbai. His work on shadow boards and cultural transformation has been recognized by the Harvard Business Review and IMD Business School.
At ZEE, Suri will focus on shaping a collaborative and performance-led culture, deploying innovative HR practices, and supporting the company’s growth in a rapidly evolving media landscape.
