Dr. Prahlad Agrawal has been elevated to the position of Director of Operations (Medical and Non-Medical) at Dharamshila Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, New Delhi, further solidifying his journey as a dynamic healthcare leader. With a career spanning two decades, Dr. Agrawal has consistently delivered operational excellence and clinical leadership in some of India’s premier healthcare institutions.
Prior to this elevation, Dr. Agrawal served as Senior Medical Superintendent and Head of Medical Operations at Dharamshila Narayana, where he led large multidisciplinary teams and drove quality, safety, and service delivery initiatives. Simultaneously, he held the role of Clinical Lead for the NCR region at Narayana Health, where he championed clinical governance and regional alignment of healthcare services.
Dr. Agrawal brings a diverse and rich background in healthcare administration. He has previously worked with Max Healthcare, EY, Urgent Care (AapKa Urgicare Pvt. Ltd.), and the NHS in the UK, across roles involving operations, emergency medicine, consulting, and healthcare education. His leadership combines a clinician’s perspective with deep strategic acumen, making him uniquely equipped to navigate the evolving challenges of hospital administration.
Academically, Dr. Agrawal is an alumnus of the Indian School of Business, where he pursued the Advanced Healthcare Management Programme. He holds dual master’s degrees—an MBA in Hospital Administration from the Academy of Hospital Administration and a Masters in Emergency Medicine from The George Washington University (International Program). His medical foundation stems from an MBBS from MGM Medical College.
