Anand Kumar has been appointed as Vice President – Sales & Marketing (Aftermarket) at Uno Minda. With over 18 years of extensive experience in strategic business planning, global market development, product management, and channel marketing, Anand brings a well-rounded leadership profile to this key role.
Having served Uno Minda for over eight years across roles of increasing responsibility, Anand has been instrumental in shaping the company’s aftermarket strategy. As Sr. General Manager – Aftermarket Strategy and Marketing, he played a critical role in crafting global expansion plans, identifying high-potential markets across LATAM, Africa, and ASEAN, and developing new product lines that are projected to significantly boost revenue. His analytical approach, supported by robust data visualization and geo-mapping tools, has contributed to a 12% improvement in sales productivity.
Prior to joining Uno Minda, Anand held senior roles at Tega Industries, JCB, and TATA Hitachi, where he successfully implemented strategic marketing initiatives and streamlined sales and distribution networks across global markets. He also led turnaround projects and introduced value-based pricing models, further strengthening his business transformation credentials.
An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur (MBA) and IIT (ISM) Dhanbad (B.Tech), Anand is known for blending deep technical knowledge with sharp strategic thinking. In his new role, he will now lead Uno Minda’s aftermarket sales, branding, and distribution efforts at a time of rapid product innovation and global expansion, aiming to solidify the brand’s leadership in automotive components across emerging and developed markets.
