Bharathiraja S has been appointed as EVP & Head – Group Collections at Credit Saison India, where he will lead collections and legal operations across all lines of business. Based in Mumbai, he will focus on enhancing operational performance, implementing digital-first strategies, and building a future-ready, tech-driven collections ecosystem.
With over two decades of experience in the BFSI sector, Bharathiraja has held leadership roles in credit, collections, and business banking. His professional journey spans marquee names like Lendingkart, Unity Small Finance Bank, Fullerton India, YES BANK, and ICICI Bank. Most recently, he served as CXO and Group Chief Collection Officer at Lendingkart, where he oversaw strategic transformation in collections across digital and traditional segments.
In his new role, Bharathiraja aims to deepen the integration of technology in collections, leverage advanced data engineering, and drive meaningful legal interventions to improve recovery outcomes. His leadership will play a key role in supporting Credit Saison India’s growth goals, ensuring scalable, compliant, and customer-centric processes.
An alumnus of the Indian School of Business (ISB) and a certified professional from Kellogg School of Management, Bharathiraja brings a unique combination of strategic thinking and operational execution. His focus remains on sustainable portfolio health through innovation, capability building, and governance excellence.
