FICCI Welcomes Jyoti Vij as New Director General

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has chosen Jyoti Vij as its new Director General, replacing Shailesh Pathak, who stepped down due to personal reasons. Jyoti Vij will now lead the FICCI Secretariat starting immediately.

Dr. Anish Shah, FICCI’s President, is happy about Jyoti Vij joining as the new DG. He believes her experience, skills in making policies, and ability to work well with people will be very helpful for FICCI.

Jyoti Vij has been part of FICCI since 1993 and is currently serving as the Additional Director General. She’s trained in business economics and deals with different policies in various industries. Jyoti also works closely with government officials, international groups, and industry leaders to solve industry issues and run projects smoothly. She’s also involved in government committees and leads many international projects to attract investments to India.
