Nike has announced the appointment of Kara LaDuke Zucker as the Senior Director of Human Resources People Solutions. Zucker, who joined Nike in May 2021, previously served as the Human Resources Director for People Solutions Consulting, Global Functions. In her current role, she leads strategic HR initiatives across the company’s global functions, driving forward-thinking HR practices and solutions.
Zucker’s career at Nike began as a Global Human Resources Business Partner. Her significant contributions in this role led to her promotion to HR Director, HR Business Partner. Zucker has played a crucial role in enhancing HR practices and building strong business partnerships, which have been instrumental in advancing Nike’s global HR strategies.
Before joining Nike, Zucker spent nearly nine years at State Farm, where she held various positions. As HR Manager – Philanthropy/Diversity & Inclusion, Zucker championed diversity initiatives and fostered inclusive work environments. Her tenure at State Farm included roles such as Insurance Account Representative, Executive Assistant, Agency Field Specialist, Customer Care Center Sales Supervisor, and Leadership Development Associate – HR Philanthropy, where she gained comprehensive experience in HR management, sales supervision, and leadership development.
Zucker’s career began with roles that laid a solid foundation for her HR expertise. She served as a Lead Fundraiser at the University of Oregon Annual Giving Program and as a Compliance Service Specialist at Inovis Computer Software Company. These positions helped shape her skills in fundraising, compliance, and customer service.
