Chirag Shah has recently been appointed as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at Adani Power Ltd., marking a significant advancement in his illustrious career within the Adani Group. With over 11 years of dedicated service, Shah has navigated through various pivotal roles, demonstrating exceptional expertise and leadership in human resources management.

His journey began at Adani Ports and SEZ, where he served as Senior Manager for HR Business Partner and Internal Communication, effectively managing partnerships and fostering internal cohesion for 4.5 years. Progressing to Deputy General Manager, Shah led critical initiatives in learning and organizational development, talent management, and employee engagement over the next two years, contributing significantly to the company’s strategic HR goals.

Shah’s tenure as Associate General Manager further exemplifies his strategic acumen, overseeing HR operations across multiple ports and regions for 7.5 years. His responsibilities encompassed a wide array of functions including performance management, rewards, compensation, benefits, and HR integration during mergers and acquisitions, underscoring his comprehensive grasp of HR strategy and execution.

Prior to his tenure at Adani Group, Shah honed his skills at Reliance Industries Limited and Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd – Pantaloons, where he played key roles in enhancing HR practices and policies. His educational background, which includes a Master of Social Work in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, further enriches his professional repertoire.
