Babu Bhaskaran has recently joined EPL Limited as Vice President Human Resources – Americas, Europe, HR Digitization, bringing extensive HR expertise and strategic leadership to enhance operations across multiple regions. EPL Limited is a global leader in specialty packaging, serving top brands in beauty and personal care, pharmaceuticals, and packaged food industries. The company operates 21 manufacturing facilities worldwide, spanning Asia, Europe, North America, and South America.
With nearly six years at EPL Limited, Babu previously served as Vice President Human Resources and played a crucial role in the Regional Leadership Team for Africa, Middle East, and South Asia. He led a team of 30 HR professionals across 9 manufacturing locations, focusing on succession planning and career development, which significantly boosted the company’s EBITDA growth.
Before his VP role, Babu held positions including Regional Human Capital Head, where he implemented innovative HR strategies to drive business performance. Prior to joining EPL Limited, he served as Head HR at Godrej Creamline Dairy Products Limited, overseeing organizational change, talent acquisition, and fostering a performance-oriented culture.
Babu’s career also includes roles such as Employee Relations Manager at Unilever, where he developed ER strategies for South Asia, and as Group Management Resource in Human Resources at RPG Enterprises, focusing on talent acquisition and engagement initiatives. He holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Human Resources Management & Labour Relations from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
Babu’s diverse experience and leadership are set to further strengthen EPL Limited’s position as a global leader in specialty packaging, driving innovation and excellence in HR across its international operations.
