Tanu Tiwari has been appointed as the HR Head – Aster Retail at Aster DM Healthcare, bringing over a decade of extensive experience in human resources to his new role. Prior to this appointment, Tanu served as the Head HR – Aster Clinics & Digital Health at Aster DM Healthcare for over three years, where he spearheaded HR strategies and operations in Dubai. His responsibilities included driving digital transformation, strategic human resource planning, scalability initiatives, retention strategies, and cost engineering.
Before joining Aster DM Healthcare, Tanu Tiwari spent more than seven years at Columbia Asia Hospitals Pvt. Ltd., where he held the position of General Manager Human Resources. In this role, he oversaw all facets of HR management for 2500 employees, focusing on talent acquisition, manpower rationalization, cost optimization, employee engagement, talent management, organizational development, performance management, and leadership development. He ensured that HR practices aligned closely with organizational culture and business objectives.
Tanu’s career trajectory includes diverse HR roles such as Senior Manager Training & Development at Columbia Asia Hospitals Pvt. Ltd., Training Manager at The Leela Palace Kempinski, Learning and Development Manager at Taj Hotels, and various positions at Hilton UK & Ireland. His early career involved operational roles at prestigious hospitality establishments, including ITC Grand Central and Trident Hilton, Jaipur.
