Cloudphysician Healthcare, a healthtech startup, has raised $10.5 million in a Series A round led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Elevar Equity and Panthera Peak. This follows a $4 million pre-Series A round from Elevar Equity in 2021.

The funds will support Cloudphysician’s growth in India and expansion into international markets, including the US. Additionally, the investment will enhance its AI platform, RADAR. Founded in 2017 by Dr. Dhruv Joshi and Dr. Dileep Raman, Cloudphysician partners with hospitals to manage ICU and emergency department patients. The company now collaborates with over 200 hospitals across 23 Indian states, caring for over 100,000 patients.

Dr. Joshi and Dr. Raman expressed enthusiasm for the new partnership with Peak XV and continued collaboration with Elevar Equity, emphasizing their commitment to leveraging AI for high-quality, accessible care.

Mohit Bhatnagar, Managing Director at Peak XV, praised Cloudphysician’s AI-driven Care Center platform, noting its success in reducing ICU mortality rates by up to 40% in over 200 hospitals. He expressed excitement about supporting the startup’s mission to save more lives.
