Radisson Blu, Udaipur has appointed Poonam Nair as Vice President ‒ Commercials. In her new capacity, she will oversee critical functions such as Projects, Purchasing, Accounts, and Sales and Marketing. Additionally, she will spearhead business development initiatives, focusing on growth opportunities in high-revenue areas such as Food and Beverage, Banquet, Spa, and Transportation.
Poonam has been associated with Radisson Blu for over a decade, beginning her journey as Sales Head for Gujarat before advancing to VP of Sales and Marketing. Under her leadership, the palace has undergone significant transformation, establishing itself as a premier venue for weddings and events. Poonam has successfully orchestrated numerous high-profile events at the property, including weddings of celebrities like Neil Nitin Mukesh and Isha Ambani, as well as prestigious gatherings like the GST and G20 Summits, car launches, award functions, and MICE events. Her efforts have earned Radisson Blu Palace Resort and Spa, Udaipur accolades such as Best Destination Wedding and Best MICE Hotel in the region.
With over 17 years of experience, Poonam has amassed expertise in Operations and Sales, starting her career as a Management Trainee at Leela Mumbai and later serving as Bar Manager at Westin Mumbai Garden City, and Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at Orchid Mumbai.
With a deep understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior, Poonam anticipates increased occupancy and revenue growth for Udaipur’s hospitality sector. She remains optimistic about the city’s enduring appeal as a top destination for grand events, reflecting India’s rich cultural heritage.
