Quess Corp, India’s leading business services provider, has appointed Gurmeet Chahal as the Chief Executive Officer of Quess Global Technology Solution (GTS), its overseas wholly-owned subsidiary. This strategic move is part of the company’s demerger process announced in February 2024, which will see Quess GTS transition to become Digitide Solutions Ltd. Gurmeet Chahal, who brings over 25 years of global experience in digital transformation across various industries including healthcare, financial services, hi-tech, and manufacturing, joins from Genpact where he led Digital Transformation Services worldwide. His previous roles include significant leadership positions at HCL Technologies and DXC.
Quess GTS plans to utilize Chahal’s extensive expertise in AI, technology services, business process management, and digital transformation to drive the company’s strategic goals and enhance customer satisfaction. The company aims to deepen its focus on healthcare and financial services while expanding its capabilities in data technology, AI, and analytics. This appointment is seen as a critical step in strengthening Quess’s strategic management team and is expected to drive global revenue growth and help the company realize its vision of becoming a $1 billion technology business. The demerger process, anticipated to take 12-15 months, began in February 2024 and is progressing as planned, with Quess currently awaiting approval from SEBI.
