Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd has recently appointed Debashish Vanikar as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its Adhesives & Construction Chemicals division, a move that marks a significant step in the company’s strategic growth initiatives.
Before joining Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd, Vanikar served as an Independent Management Consultant, where he worked closely with companies and private equity players. His focus was on strategy formulation, identifying growth opportunities, scaling up businesses, expanding sales and marketing efforts, optimizing distribution, and improving supply chain management. His role also involved designing organizational structures, implementing systems and processes, and integrating entities across diverse sectors.
Prior to his consultancy role, Vanikar was the CEO of Rossari Biotech Limited, where he was responsible for handling the company’s P&L and overseeing the integration of entities within the Rossari ecosystem. His leadership at Rossari Biotech was preceded by his tenure as President of Pidilite Industries Limited, where he played a pivotal role in acquisition integration, further showcasing his expertise in managing large-scale business mergers.
Vanikar’s career trajectory also includes significant contributions at UltraTech Cement, where he headed the Integration Management Office for the Jaypee and Binani Cement business. His responsibilities included managing the integration of acquired assets and ensuring the smooth operation of the businesses.
Vanikar’s extensive experience, coupled with his academic achievements, positions him as a strong leader who is expected to drive Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd’s Adhesives & Construction Chemicals division to new heights. His appointment comes at a time when the company is poised to expand its market presence and explore new growth avenues, making his leadership pivotal to the company’s future success.
