Shantanu Bairagi Appointed as CEO of Veefin Capital

Veefin Capital, a fintech firm specializing in supply chain financing, has announced the appointment of Shantanu Bairagi as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). With over 20 years of experience in corporate banking and financial services, Bairagi’s extensive background positions him well to lead Veefin Capital as it seeks to expand its market presence.

Bairagi’s career began at ICICI Bank, where he played a significant role in overseeing corporate coverage and establishing affordable rural distribution networks. He later joined Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he was instrumental in building the corporate banking division. His career further progressed at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), where he established the corporate banking franchise with a focus on the Indo-GCC corridor.

In 2018, Bairagi co-founded a supply chain advisory company and a factoring NBFC, both recognized for their innovative capital market funding solutions. His entrepreneurial experience and strategic insight are expected to drive growth and innovation at Veefin Capital, particularly in the supply chain finance sector.

As CEO, Bairagi will lead the company’s strategic initiatives, aiming to deliver innovative financial solutions to businesses across various industries. His appointment marks a significant step in Veefin Capital’s ongoing efforts to expand its footprint in the market.
