Stampede Ventures Appoints Former UTA Partner Jim Meenaghan as COO

Stampede Ventures, helmed by founder and CEO Greg Silverman, has named Jim Meenaghan, a former 15-year executive and partner at UTA, as its Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, Meenaghan will oversee the day-to-day operations of the studio and lead efforts to expand strategic relationships across film and television.

Meenaghan’s extensive experience includes serving as co-head of independent film and head of motion picture business affairs at UTA, where he played a key role in negotiating packaging, financing, and distribution deals for numerous high-profile independent films. With a background spanning over 15 years at UTA, Meenaghan brings invaluable expertise in business affairs operations and client relations to Stampede Ventures.

Commenting on his appointment, Meenaghan expressed enthusiasm about joining Stampede Ventures, citing the company’s commitment to creating high-quality, commercial content and its strong executive team and culture. His appointment comes at a time of considerable growth for Stampede Ventures, which recently announced a partnership with Film AlUla studios and continues to develop important studio infrastructure.
