IFCO Elevates Digital Landscape: Dr. Sebastian Grams Appointed as Chief Digital Officer to Drive Innovation and Sustainability

In a strategic move to accelerate its digital transformation journey, IFCO, a global leader in reusable packaging solutions, has announced the appointment of Dr. Sebastian Grams as Chief Digital Officer (CDO). With a distinguished career marked by pioneering digitalization efforts, Dr. Grams is poised to lead IFCO’s foray into the digital landscape, driving innovation and enhancing customer value.

Hailing from Heilbronn, Germany, Dr. Grams brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, holding two degrees in mechanical engineering and a doctorate from the University of Karlsruhe (KIT). With over two decades of experience in Technical Development and IT/Digitalization within the Volkswagen Group, Dr. Grams is renowned for his passion for digital innovation and his ability to drive organizational change.

Prior to joining IFCO, Dr. Grams served in senior leadership positions, including CIO of SEAT / CUPRA in Spain and Managing Director of Audi Sport GmbH. At Audi Sport GmbH, Dr. Grams spearheaded the transformation of electrification and launched new Audi RS and R8 models, while introducing innovative business models to ensure the company’s readiness for the future.

In this capacity, he will spearhead the company’s digital initiatives, driving growth in the digital space and enhancing IFCO’s innovative digital capabilities.
