Kavita Kunder has stepped into the role of Managing Director at State Street, bringing with her over two decades of experience in the financial services industry. Based in Hyderabad, she is now leading the Middle Office Operations in Hyderabad, contributing her expertise in risk management, client onboarding, and sales and trading. This career move marks an exciting new chapter in her professional journey, as she continues to strengthen State Street’s operations in India.
Before joining State Street, Kavita spent approx two decades at Goldman Sachs, where she held multiple leadership roles. She served as Senior Vice President of Operations, overseeing the EMEA Fixed Income Securities and Liquidity Trade Management. She also played a crucial role in establishing the Operations department at Goldman Sachs’ Hyderabad office. Throughout her tenure, Kavita was recognized for her leadership in managing complex operations, including Equities Broker Operations and Commodities.
Kavita began her career at Firstsource, where she worked in customer service roles before transitioning to the financial services sector. Her academic background in Botany from the University of Mumbai reflects her diverse interests and adaptability. Now, as she embarks on this new role at State Street, Kavita continues to build on her legacy of driving operational excellence and strategic leadership in the financial industry.
