Kuldeep Manral joined Tide India – the leading business financial platform for SMEs, as the Lead for KYC & Risk, marking an exciting new chapter in his career within the fintech space. With his extensive experience in KYC, risk, compliance, and program management, Kuldeep is set to play a crucial role in shaping and implementing robust KYC and risk management frameworks tailored for the Indian fintech ecosystems.
Prior to joining Tide, Kuldeep held senior positions at leading fintech firms, including Cashfree Payments and Razorpay where he oversaw critical areas such as Onboarding, Risk Screening and chargeback management. His experience in creating a strong framework for Faster and accurate Onboarding, mitigating Chargeback Fraud and People Management has been a key asset to the organisations he has been part of. Prior to that, his role at Amazon saw him take charge of transaction risk and chargeback management, building a robust risk management system that spanned across buyer and seller interactions. Kuldeep’s journey in the risk domain began at KPMG, where he served as a Team Lead – Risk Consulting, managing a team of forensic investigators and implementing KYC and AML frameworks.
At Tide, Kuldeep is expected to work closely with the leadership team to further enhance the KYC and risk management framework, ensuring that Tide remains a trusted and secure platform in the competitive fintech space, as the company builds a safe, risk-governed, and seamless business financial platform to help SMEs across India.
