Daryush Ashjari has stepped into the role of Chief Technology Officer for the Asia-Pacific Japan (APJ) region at Nutanix, bringing his extensive experience to lead technical innovation and strategic growth in the region. Previously serving as the Vice President of APJ Solution Engineering, Daryush now takes on additional responsibilities to address the evolving needs of hybrid multicloud solutions in the region. Based in Sydney, he will drive engineering and technical operations while overseeing strategic solution development and C-level client engagements across APJ.
In his expanded role, Daryush will spearhead Nutanix’s technical direction, supporting enterprises and governments with tailored, cutting-edge cloud solutions. His leadership will focus on enhancing the company’s technical frameworks and aligning with the complex requirements of the APJ market. With a team of engineers distributed throughout the region, Daryush will manage Nutanix’s core technical and solution development initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and performance for organizations navigating hybrid multicloud environments.
Daryush brings nearly four decades of IT expertise, having previously held key roles at industry giants like IBM, Novell, Cisco, Citrix, EMC, and McAfee. His background in electrical, electronic, and computer science engineering, along with his certification as a Prosci Change Management Practitioner, positions him as a strategic leader equipped to drive Nutanix’s growth in APJ.
The executive team at Nutanix has seen several recent enhancements, signaling a focus on strengthening leadership across key markets. Earlier this year, Faiz Shakir was appointed as the Managing Director for Nutanix India, a role he assumed after over eight years with the company. Additionally, Prasanna Ranade took on the role of Senior Director of Enterprise and Government Sales, focusing on expanding Nutanix’s presence in these sectors across APJ.
With these leadership advancements, Nutanix continues to refine its strategy to support regional demands and accelerate its growth within the hybrid cloud landscape across the Asia-Pacific Japan region.
