Carlsberg Group Welcomes Susanne Skippari as New CHRO

Susanne Skippari is poised to bring her extensive experience and expertise to Carlsberg Group as she assumes the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and becomes a member of the Executive Committee (ExCom), effective September 2024. With a distinguished career spanning over 25 years in the field of human resources, Skippari is well-equipped to lead Carlsberg’s HR function and contribute to the company’s strategic objectives.

Announcing Skippari’s appointment, Jacob Aarup-Andersen, Group CEO at Carlsberg Group, highlighted her exceptional track record in senior leadership positions and her stellar expertise in talent development, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Aarup-Andersen expressed confidence in Skippari’s ability to drive culture-driven business transformation in a fast-changing environment, making her a natural fit for the role.

Skippari’s journey in the HR domain includes serving as the Executive Vice President of People and Communications and a member of the Executive Board at KONE, a Helsinki-based global leader in the elevator and escalator industry. During her tenure at KONE, Skippari played a pivotal role in advancing strategic HR initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence across the organization’s global footprint, comprising 60,000 employees operating in over 60 countries.

Prior to her tenure at KONE, Skippari held various HR roles at Nokia, where she honed her skills in HR management and organizational development. Her diverse professional background, spanning roles in Finland and Argentina, has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of global HR dynamics and best practices.

Skippari holds an MSc in Economics from Turku School of Economics, Finland, underscoring her strong academic foundation and analytical prowess in driving HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
