Irfan Tamboli appointed as Chief Business Officer at Electronica Finance Limited(EFL)

Irfan Tamboli has been recently appointed as the Chief Business Officer and Executive Vice President at Electronica Finance Limited (EFL). With extensive experience of 26 years in banking and finance, Irfan is responsible for managing all lending businesses at EFL, overseeing P&L, revenue generation, product management, debt management, and collections. His leadership would be pivotal in driving the company’s strategic initiatives, including digital transformation, product innovation, and risk management. Irfan’s deep understanding of the Indian financial landscape would enable EFL to develop robust strategies and offer innovative products and financial solutions.

Prior to his role at EFL, Irfan gained significant experience at Axis Bank, where he served as Senior Vice President and Business Head for Supply Chain Finance, MSME Working Capital Finance, Vehicle Finance (2W), and corporate relationships for Retail Assets. His efforts were instrumental in the growth and market share expansion of these sectors. He spearheaded the development of successful business models for the automobile and allied industries, utilizing digital advancements to drive efficiency and growth. Irfan’s career journey also includes key roles at Aditya Birla Finance Limited, where he led the Digital Anchor Business, managing Supply Chain Finance, MSME and Working Capital Loans. Before transitioning to these senior roles in finance, Irfan spent a significant part of his career at IndusInd Bank, where he spearheaded the establishment of the Trade, Supply Chain, and Receivable Financing business.
