Pooja’s journey has been deeply rooted in green energy since completing her master’s in International Communication and Media Management at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Her career began with the prestigious German organization GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit), where she excelled as a Communications Specialist. During her tenure, she made significant contributions to the Indo-German Green Hydrogen Task Force, an initiative jointly chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz. This project highlighted her ability to foster international collaboration in sustainable energy.
Her professional background showcases a unique blend of journalism and sustainability. Pooja’s early experiences in journalism, including leadership roles at TEDx Monash University, equipped her with the skills to build strong networks with government stakeholders and private sector players. Her dedication to climate action was evident when she organized the TEDx event “Are We There Yet?” focusing on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
