Ashish Nasa has been appointed as the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Universal Trustees Private Limited. With a career spanning over two decades, Nasa brings a wealth of experience in wealth management, branch banking, and product strategy to his new role.
Before joining Universal Trustees Private Limited, Nasa served as Executive Vice President at Equitas Small Finance Bank. During his tenure at Equitas, he held several key leadership roles, including Business Head for NRI Banking and Head of Wealth Management. He also spearheaded the Affluent Banking Program (ELITE) and led the Mass Affluent Relationship Management division.
Nasa’s extensive experience also includes his time at YES BANK, where he served for over seven years. Earlier in his career, Nasa was with ICICI Bank, where he held various strategic positions, including Product Manager for Internet Banking (Digital Banking), Regional Head of Wealth Management for NCR, and Head of Business Strategy for Wealth Management at BKC, Mumbai.
Nasa’s academic credentials are as impressive as his professional achievements. He is a Chartered Accountant, having completed his qualifications through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Notably, he was a rank holder in the Intermediate level, and he cleared both his Intermediate and Final exams on his first attempt. Nasa also holds additional qualifications from ICFAI Hyderabad, further demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
In his new role at Universal Trustees Private Limited, Nasa is expected to leverage his vast experience to drive the company’s growth and enhance its market position.
