Deepali Agrawal took on the role of Deputy Managing Director at India Exim Bank on June 28, 2024, after serving as the Bank’s Chief Financial Officer. With nearly thirty years of experience, she has held various positions at both domestic and international offices of the Bank. Her expertise spans treasury, corporate banking, project exports, communications, brand management, grassroots enterprise development, human resources, and recovery management.
Agrawal is a certified assessor for the Confederation of Indian Industry-Exim Bank Award for Business Excellence, aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of Indian companies. She serves as a nominee director on several company boards and has contributed to government-level committees on policy development.
Throughout her career, Agrawal has focused on enhancing the Bank’s brand visibility and supporting grassroots artisans and women’s empowerment through innovative initiatives. She has played a crucial role in increasing the Bank’s asset base, raising resources, and achieving significant recovery milestones.
Agrawal joined India Exim Bank in 1995 after completing her Master’s in Management Studies with a finance specialization from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, following her graduation in commerce. She has further honed her leadership skills through programs such as the Kellogg School of Management’s Women’s Senior Leadership Program and the Leadership Development Programme for Senior Management of Public Sector Banks organized by Banks Board Bureau.
