Tiruppur-based Eastman Exports has appointed Ritesh Kumar as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Kumar brings 25 years of extensive experience in the garment industry, having previously served as Senior Vice President at Shahi Exports.
Kumar’s appointment signals Eastman Exports’ commitment to driving innovation and expanding its presence in India, while also strengthening its global business operations. The company is a leading supplier of garments to luxury clothing brands worldwide, with the U.S. being a primary market.
Kumar holds a postgraduate degree in Garment Manufacturing Technology (GMT) from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). Before joining Eastman Exports, he was the Chief Operating Officer of the garments division at Arise IIP in Dubai, where he focused on establishing the industry in West Africa.
The Chairman of Eastman Exports, N Chandran, expressed confidence in Kumar’s expertise, highlighting his knowledge in technological innovation and strategic planning. Kumar himself expressed his enthusiasm for joining the company, stating his eagerness to leverage his experience to drive innovation and propel Eastman Exports to new heights in both global and domestic markets.
