CapitaLand India Trust (CLINT) has announced the appointment of Gauri Shankar Nagabhushanam as the Chief Executive Officer (Designate). Effective from May 16, 2024, Gauri Shankar Nagabhushanam will take on this role as part of the company’s succession planning strategy. He will succeed Sanjeev Dasgupta, the current CEO of CLINT, around August 2024.
Gauri Shankar Nagabhushanam brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Before assuming the position of CEO Designate at CLINT, he served as the CEO of India Business Park at CapitaLand Investment (CLI). He officially began his duties as CEO Designate on May 16 and is poised to succeed Sanjeev Dasgupta in August.
In his previous roles, Gauri Shankar Nagabhushanam played instrumental roles in various organizations within the real estate and investment sectors. Notably, he served as the head of Investments and Chief Financial Officer at Ascendas-Firstspace, where he was pivotal in setting up and scaling the industrial and logistics platform in India under the joint venture between CapitaLand and Firstspace.
With his extensive experience and leadership acumen, Gauri Shankar Nagabhushanam is expected to lead CLINT through its next phase of growth and development. His appointment underscores CapitaLand’s commitment to fostering top talent and driving strategic initiatives in the Indian real estate market.
