Karan Abhishek Singh has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Zee Media Corporation Limited (ZMCL). Prior to this role, Singh was the CEO of Network18’s Hindi Cluster, where he oversaw both TV and digital operations. He departed from Network18 in February.
Singh’s career includes extensive experience in leadership positions across the media and FMCG sectors. From 2019 to 2021, he served as the CEO of Languages at Network18. Before that, he held various senior roles in Ad Sales at Star India (now Disney Star) from 2013 to 2018.
His career also spans significant roles at Pepsico India Holdings, where he was Vice President of Sales from 2011 to 2013, and at Nokia India from 2009 to 2011. Singh’s early career included positions at Godrej, Hindustan Lever Limited, and GE Money between 2001 and 2009.
With over a decade of experience in FMCG and media, Singh brings expertise in business leadership, sales, and channel and distribution management to his new role at ZMCL.
