Mashreq has announced the appointment of Tushar Vikram as the new Country Head and CEO of Mashreq India. In his new role, Vikram will oversee the bank’s operations in India, guiding its strategic direction and fostering growth.

Tushar Vikram is a seasoned business banker with a career spanning three decades. Prior to joining Mashreq, he served as the Group Head of Investment Banking for HDFC Bank, where he led Project Finance, Equity, Debt Capital Markets, and M&A. Before that, he spent 27 years with Citibank in various roles, including Commercial Banking, Investment and Structured Finance, Digitization, Credit Processes, and Risk Management.
Vikram holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Delhi University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
