Organon India Appoints Vivek Soares as New Country Lead for India and South Asia

Organon India has appointed Vivek Soares as its new Country Lead for India and South Asia, succeeding Anjan Sen, who retired after 35 years in the biopharmaceutical sector. Soares brings over 20 years of experience in leadership roles within the biopharmaceutical industry.

Before his new role, Soares served as the Strategic Partnerships & Business Development Lead for Organon Thailand. He joined Organon in June 2021, initially leading strategic partnerships & business development in Thailand.

Soares has a proven track record of leading diverse teams across markets, developing successful strategies to drive sales and profitability, and building future capabilities.

Anjan Sen, the outgoing Country Lead, had a distinguished career spanning 35 years in the biopharmaceutical sector, including 11 years with MSD and Organon.

Organon, a global healthcare company headquartered in Jersey City, New Jersey, has around 10,000 employees worldwide.

Soares’ appointment underscores Organon’s commitment to strengthening its presence and operations in India and South Asia, leveraging his expertise to drive growth and innovation in the region.
