SBI General Insurance Company has announced the appointment of Naveen Chandra Jha as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Nominated by its parent company, State Bank of India (SBI), Jha succeeds Shri Kishore Kumar Poludasu in this pivotal role.
With a career spanning over three decades at SBI, Jha has held significant positions, including Deputy Managing Director and Chief General Manager of the Amaravati Circle, Andhra Pradesh. His extensive experience in banking encompasses diverse roles such as Branch Management, Credit and Risk Management, HR & Administration, and Retail Banking. Jha’s leadership has been instrumental in various capacities, including Regional Manager, Deputy General Manager (CDS), Deputy General Manager (Cadre Management), General Manager of Network, and Chief General Manager of the Circle.
In his new capacity at SBI General Insurance, Jha is focused on driving overall business strategy, operational efficiency, budgeting, and strategic growth initiatives. He places a strong emphasis on human resource engagement and customer-centricity, considering them integral to organizational success.
