Shrikant Kanhere Takes on Additional Role as Deputy CEO at Adani Wilmar

Shrikant Kanhere has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Adani Wilmar Limited (AWL), adding to his current role as Chief Financial Officer. Based in Ahmedabad, this appointment reflects the company’s strategic focus on enhancing leadership capabilities to drive growth and streamline operations across its diverse business verticals.

With years of experience in consulting, manufacturing, services, and the FMCG sector, Kanhere has been a pivotal figure at AWL, managing its financial strategies and operations. Before joining AWL, he held leadership roles at Reliance Industries Limited and Vodafone Digilink Limited, honing his expertise in handling large-scale business functions.

In his expanded role, Kanhere will focus on business development, investor relations, and financial management. Collaborating with Saumin Sheth, the Chief Operating Officer, and Angshu Mallick, the Managing Director and CEO, he will play a key role in shaping AWL’s strategic initiatives. While Sheth leads sourcing, trading, and manufacturing functions, Kanhere will concentrate on financial and business growth strategies.
