Virinder Nath brings nearly two decades of experience from Airtel India, where he significantly expanded the company’s broadband business and led large-scale telco transformation projects. Matt Williams, Managing Director of Customer Solutions at Optus, expressed enthusiasm about Nath’s appointment, highlighting his potential to disrupt the market and add value to customers.
Since its acquisition by Optus, amaysim has grown its customer base by 25%, now exceeding 1.5 million subscribers. The company also holds the lowest Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) complaints score in the industry. Under Nath’s leadership, amaysim plans to launch amaysim nbn Home Internet, leveraging AI-driven solutions for enhanced customer support.
