Aditya Birla Group Names Anand Tripathi as Chief Human Resources Officer for Century Textiles

Aditya Birla Group has appointed Anand Tripathi as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for its subsidiary, Century Textiles and Industries Limited. Tripathi brings nearly 20 years of HR experience to his new role, where he will lead the company’s HR strategies.

Confirming his appointment on LinkedIn, Tripathi expressed his enthusiasm about joining Century Textiles in this pivotal role. Prior to this, he served as the President of HR at Ultratech Cement, another key company under the Aditya Birla Group umbrella.

Tripathi’s extensive career includes significant roles at Hindustan Unilever, where he was General Manager HR – ER for South Asia. In this capacity, he was part of the South Asia HR Leadership Team and the South Asia Supply Chain Leadership Team. His career also includes positions at UPL and Goodlass Nerolac Paints (now Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd.), where he began his career as a Senior HR Officer.

Tripathi holds a master’s degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from IPM Lucknow. His diverse experience and strategic insight are expected to further strengthen the HR function at Century Textiles, aligning with the company’s growth and operational goals.

With this new appointment, Aditya Birla Group continues to demonstrate its commitment to enhancing leadership within its various business units, ensuring robust HR practices that support its workforce and drive business success.
