Bhavna Mulchandani Joins Bajaj Allianz General Insurance as Vertical Head for Talent Management, Engagement, and Performance

Bajaj Allianz General Insurance has appointed Bhavna Mulchandani as its new Vertical Head for Talent Management, Engagement, and Performance, marking a significant addition to its leadership team. With an extensive background in human resources and organizational development, Bhavna brings over six years of experience from her tenure at Bekaert, where she held various pivotal roles.

At Bekaert, Bhavna served most recently as the Global Talent Development Manager, overseeing comprehensive talent development programs and leading as the Academy Dean for Bekaert University. Her responsibilities included shaping and implementing strategies to foster learning and career growth across the organization.

Prior to this, Bhavna excelled as the Global Head of DE&I (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and Talent Management, contributing significantly to succession planning, organizational development, and initiatives promoting diversity within the workforce. Her leadership in these areas underscores her commitment to creating inclusive workplaces and harnessing diverse talent to drive organizational success.

Based in Pune during her tenure as HRBP (Human Resources Business Partner) and Lead for Learning & Talent Development, Bhavna played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s human capital strategy. She focused on initiatives such as succession planning, employee benefits, and cultural transformation, leveraging her strategic acumen to align human resources practices with business objectives.

Bhavna’s career journey also includes an impactful stint in Bradford, England, where she managed a team and spearheaded organizational development efforts. Her role as Assistant Manager in HR encompassed overseeing HR functions, including compensation and benefits management, policy development, and fostering employee engagement initiatives.

In her new role at Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, Bhavna Mulchandani is poised to leverage her expertise in talent management, engagement, and performance to drive transformative initiatives that will further strengthen the organization’s position as a leader in the insurance industry.
