Bringing a wealth of experience in HR leadership, Kumar Jagat most recently served as the Head of HR (Vice President) at Adda247, an AI-based EdTech firm. During his tenure there, he focused on fostering robust employee relations, driving organizational development initiatives, and enhancing overall employee engagement.
Prior to his role at Adda247, Kumar co-founded Sigma Education, an educational intervention program aimed at enhancing IQ and preparing young talent for competitive exams such as JEE and NEET. He also held significant positions including Head of HR and Strategy at Jindal Stainless, where he spearheaded talent management, HR process digitization, and performance management efforts.
Kumar’s career journey includes a stint at Adani Enterprises Limited – Natural Resources as DGM – HR, overseeing HR operations for the mining vertical and driving HR digitization and employee engagement initiatives. At TATA Hitachi Construction Machinery Company Limited, he led HR initiatives for the Jamshedpur plant, focusing on learning and development, talent acquisition, and change management.
Kumar Jagat commenced his professional career with an internship at Vedanta Resources Limited, where he gained hands-on experience in recruitment and contributed to the design and implementation of HR processes.
