UC Health has announced the appointment of Lou Nazir as the new Director of HR Operations. Lou brings over three years of experience with UC Health, having previously served as the Director of HR Technology. In this role, she led the implementation of transformational HR solutions through Oracle HCM Cloud, managing large teams, designing HR applications, and spearheading strategic communications and change management initiatives.
Before her tenure at UC Health, Lou worked at Accenture as a Manager specializing in Oracle HCM Cloud for nearly two years. Her responsibilities included designing and deploying HR solutions, collaborating with senior management, and managing global teams. Lou’s expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud applications played a crucial role in solving complex business problems and enhancing HR functions.
Lou’s career also includes a significant period at Macy’s, where she held various roles over nine years. As the Director of HR Technology, she acted as a strategic technology partner with internal stakeholders, led a team of Oracle HCM Cloud experts, and advised senior management on strategic planning. Prior to this, she served as the Product Manager for HR Technology, overseeing technical projects for Talent Management and Learning functions, creating functional requirements, and managing project timelines.
Earlier at Macy’s, Lou held the position of Benefits Functional Lead in HR Technology. In this role, she successfully implemented Oracle HCM Cloud for the Benefits function, designed test scenarios, and collaborated with internal Centers of Expertise to drive system enhancements. Additionally, she served as the Senior Manager for Recruitment Brand Marketing and the Recruitment Support Center, managing advertising and marketing efforts, facilitating partnerships with external stakeholders, and leading special projects to improve the applicant experience.
Lou began her career at Macy’s as the Manager of Recruitment Logistics, where she managed travel logistics for over 1,000 candidates annually, supervised metrics reporting, and led candidate relationship management systems. She also participated in the Human Resources Executive Development Program, gaining comprehensive experience in various HR areas.
