Manjith Mohan, formerly the head of learning and organization development at Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company, has recently taken on the role of head of culture and transformation at IndiaFirst Life.
Mohan holds an MBA in change management and organizational behavior from Nottingham University Business School. Early in his career, he spent nearly six years with ICICI Bank, initially serving as the manager of training and development for the Rural Finance Group from 2005 to 2009. He was then promoted to senior manager of channel development, focusing on alternate channels and branch banking, a position he held for about three years.
In 2012, Mohan transitioned to Kotak Mahindra Bank as chief manager of learning and development. After a year and a half, he was promoted to associate vice president of organizational learning, remaining with Kotak Mahindra for just over four and a half years.
In 2016, he joined IIFL (India Infoline Group) as head of learning and development. During his four years and seven months there, he contributed to the creation and implementation of innovative digital learning and development initiatives for IIFL Finance, IIFL Home Finance, IIFL Securities, and 5 Paisa Capital.
In July 2021, Mohan began his tenure at Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company as head of learning and organization development.
At IndiaFirst Life, Mohan’s responsibilities will include developing an employee experience that aligns with the company’s employee value proposition, fostering a culture of happiness and passion, and managing talent and succession planning. He will also address diversity, equity, and inclusion, alongside other HR functions.
