In a strategic move to fortify its leadership team, midcap IT services company Mphasis has announced the appointment of Ayaskant Sarangi as its new Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO). Sarangi’s appointment comes as Srikanth Karra, who has served as Mphasis’s CHRO since 2017, prepares to transition into the role of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) until his superannuation in April 2024.
With over two decades of experience across diverse industries, Sarangi brings a wealth of expertise in various facets of human resources, including talent management, recruitment, leadership development, and HR operations. Prior to joining Mphasis, he served as the CHRO at Wipro Enterprises, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s HR strategy and operations.
As the new CHRO, Sarangi will spearhead Mphasis’s global human resources strategy and operations, working closely with CEO & MD Nitin Rakesh to attract, develop, and retain top talent from around the world. His strategic vision and leadership are expected to further strengthen Mphasis’s people-first approach and drive the company’s growth agenda in the digital age.
