Prisoomit Nayak has joined Kotak Education Foundation as Chief Human Resources Officer, bringing with him over a decade of expertise in HR leadership, change management, and strategic workforce planning. An Ivy League graduate with a Master’s in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, Prisoomit also holds an MBA and a B.Tech., giving him a solid foundation in HR, business, and technology. His international experience spans the United States, Europe, and Asia, where he has led HR teams in diverse industries including technology, financial services, and retail.
Prior to his new role, Prisoomit served as an HR consulting leader at PwC, where he partnered closely with senior executives at Fortune 500 and high-growth companies to advance organizational objectives and drive effective HR transformations. He has been instrumental in rolling out various talent management frameworks, developing leadership pipelines, and strengthening employee engagement strategies. His experience also includes creating comprehensive diversity and inclusion (D&I) programs, which helped differentiate organizations’ identities in competitive markets.
In addition to his consulting role at PwC, Prisoomit has held key positions in other high-profile sectors, where he spearheaded initiatives such as the deployment of a global Pulse Survey to gauge employee satisfaction and the establishment of HR Shared Services to streamline HR operations. His contributions to HR analytics have also empowered business leaders with insights to make informed decisions on workforce planning and talent acquisition.
