DCM Shriram has appointed Sachin Kaistha as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for its Sugar Business. Sachin transitions from his previous role at Cipla, bringing over two decades of HR experience across various sectors including Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, Retail, and FMCG.
In his new role, Sachin will be responsible for overseeing HR functions within the Sugar Business, focusing on strategic HR initiatives, talent management, and fostering a positive work culture. His appointment is anticipated to bolster the HR capabilities of the Sugar Business, aligning with DCM Shriram’s commitment to excellence and growth.
Sachin’s extensive HR experience spans across manufacturing, sales, and corporate functions, showcasing his versatility and deep understanding of diverse business environments. Before joining Cipla, Sachin held significant HR roles at prominent organizations such as Eicher Polaris, Tata Motors, Future Group People Office, and SC Johnson. His career began at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, where he gained foundational experience that set the stage for his subsequent leadership roles.
Sachin’s strategic vision and extensive experience make him a valuable addition to the DCM Shriram team. His leadership is expected to bring new insights and innovations to the HR function, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Sugar Business.
