Before joining Al Tamimi & Company, Samia served as the Human Resources Operations Manager at DIFC Courts for approximately six years. In this capacity, she was responsible for a wide range of HR functions including recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, learning and development, succession planning, manpower planning, HR automation, performance management, employee engagement, and the formulation and implementation of employee policies and procedures.
Prior to her tenure at DIFC Courts, Samia worked at the National Reference Laboratory (NRL) for over six years. She initially held the position of Senior Human Resources Officer and later advanced to Assistant Manager, Human Resources. Her responsibilities at NRL encompassed talent acquisition, recruitment, employee relations, government relations, new employee onboarding, training and development, Emiratisation, compliance, and reporting.
Earlier in her career, Samia gained valuable experience working at the Dubai Film Festival as an HQ Captain and at HSBC Card Services as a Customer Loyalty and Retention Unit Officer for three years. These roles allowed her to hone her skills in customer relations and employee engagement, contributing to her well-rounded expertise in human resources.
