Sanjeev Muramkar Steps into the Role of Chief Human Resources Officer at Adani Electricity

Adani Electricity has announced the promotion of Sanjeev Muramkar to the prestigious position of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Sanjeev, who has been a vital part of the organization since April 2019, previously held the role of Head of Talent Management, Learning, and Talent Acquisition.

Sanjeev Muramkar brings over two decades of rich experience in Talent Management and Development to his new role. His journey in the HR domain is marked by significant achievements, including the design and implementation of leadership development programs in collaboration with elite institutions like Harvard Business School, Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.

Before joining Adani Electricity, Sanjeev’s career spanned several key roles. He has been instrumental in various HR capacities at Vedanta, Trent Ltd (a Tata Enterprise), and Wockhardt. His tenure at these organizations has equipped him with a broad spectrum of skills in talent management, leadership development, and organizational growth.

Sanjeev’s educational background is equally impressive. He holds a Ph.D. in Human Resources from IIT Bombay, an MBA from Shivaji University, and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the College of Engineering & Technology in Akola.
