Translumina Therapeutics, a pioneering global developer and manufacturer of innovative cardiovascular medical devices, is pleased to announce the appointment of Satyakam Mishra as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Satyakam brings a wealth of experience in human resources, having held significant leadership roles across various industries, enhancing HR operations, and driving strategic HR initiatives.
Satyakam’s most recent role was as Deputy General Manager – Human Resources at Intas Pharmaceuticals, where he served for over four years. At Intas, he managed HR for multiple business units, including Pharma, Gynaecology, Generics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Tender business, and Oncology. His responsibilities extended to overseeing Sales HR/Field HR across India and corporate HR functions. Satyakam led HR technology and automation initiatives and was the HR Head for Emerging Markets, covering Asia Pacific, Latin America, and Africa. His tenure at Intas was marked by his ability to streamline HR processes and enhance operational efficiency across diverse regions and business units.
Before his time at Intas Pharmaceuticals, Satyakam was the Head of Human Resources at Bata Singapore, a position he held for over six years. At Bata, he managed HR functions for the Local Retail Business, Asia-Pacific HQ, International Franchising Business, Global Export, Regional Product Development/Innovation Center, and the AW Lab business. His focus was on strategic HR partnership, talent acquisition, leadership development, workforce planning, change management, and regional project management. Satyakam’s strategic insights and leadership significantly contributed to the company’s HR transformation and growth in the region.
Earlier in his career, Satyakam held the position of Human Resources Manager – Asia Pacific at Syneos Health, where he managed HR operations across the Asia Pacific region. He also spent seven years at Pitney Bowes in various HR roles, including HR Manager for South East Asia & South Africa and HR Manager (Head of HR) in New Delhi, India. His responsibilities at Pitney Bowes included talent acquisition, HR operations, and the execution of global HR initiatives. Satyakam’s career began with roles as Senior Executive – Human Resources at BCH Electric Ltd and Assistant Consultant – HRD at Ma Foi Randstad, where he gained foundational experience in HR management and consulting.
