ICICI Lombard, a leading private general insurance company in India, has announced the appointment of Swati Bangera Sasihithlu as the Head of Talent Acquisition (Non-Tech). Swati brings a wealth of experience in human resources and talent management, positioning her to lead the company’s efforts in attracting and retaining top talent in the non-technical sectors.
In her new role at ICICI Lombard, Swati will leverage her extensive background in HR to enhance the company’s talent acquisition strategies. Before this appointment, Swati served as Associate Vice President of Human Resources at ICICI Lombard, where she led various HR initiatives and strategies, contributing significantly to the company’s overall HR operations and talent management.
Prior to her tenure at ICICI Lombard, Swati was the Associate Vice President of Human Resources at Bharti AXA General Insurance, which has since become part of ICICI Lombard. During her time there, she played a crucial role in shaping HR operations and driving talent management initiatives. Her experience at Bharti AXA provided her with a robust foundation in managing diverse HR functions and developing effective talent acquisition strategies.
Swati’s career also includes significant roles at other esteemed organizations. As the HR Business Partner for the Western region at ManipalCigna Health Insurance Company Ltd., she drove HR practices and business partnering for over five years. This experience allowed her to develop a deep understanding of regional HR dynamics and business needs.
Earlier in her career, Swati served as Manager of Human Resources at Religare Private Wealth and as Assistant Manager – HR at Bajaj Allianz General Insurance. In these roles, she played a pivotal part in HR management and development, honing her skills in various HR functions and talent management practices. Swati’s journey in HR began as a trainee at Bharti Airtel Limited, where she gained foundational experience in human resources.
